The fine print

Privacy

Short version: we collect almost nothing, and we don’t sell any of it.

CultureLens Publishing keeps data collection to the minimum a bookshop needs.

What we collect

Newsletter and pitch forms. If you subscribe to the Dispatch or send us a pitch, we receive what you typed — your email address, and for pitches your name and message. We use it to reply and to send the newsletter. Unsubscribe anytime; we delete on request at hello@culturelens.press.

On your device only. Your cart, theme preference (light/dark), and recently-viewed books are stored in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and we can’t see them.

Hosting logs. Our host (Netlify) processes standard server logs — IP address, pages requested — to serve the site and protect it from abuse, per their own privacy policy.

What we don’t do

No advertising trackers. No selling or sharing of personal data. No third-party analytics cookies. No accounts, so no passwords to lose.
